At Remanence Interiors, we love the calm and softness imposed by these sand dunes by photographer Syd Moen. Admiring the work of Syd and the kindness that emanates from his person, it is with great pleasure that we designed the decor entitled “Quietude” for this room located in Lyon, France. Here is a 4th design board presented in the framework of the biennale of contemporary art organized by https://ypalixart.com/.

1 -Round mirrors to create a wall unit
To echo the little planet, this is how these photos reworked in rounded form are called, Remanence Interiors suggests either to crack for several photos, or to combine a photo with a set of mirrors.

2 – Alliance of wood and white
These dunes of sand evoke a certain purity. To respect these induced specifications, the choice was to combine a headboard in natural wood with a white bed frame.
Pretty Kenzo sheets in natural shades with a dominant of green complete the color combination.

3 – Bedside lamps in humor and roundness
To enlight the floating bedside tables, two small lamps caught our attention. First of all, the roundness Blom lamp from Fontana Arte then this little white mouse from Seletti that we imagine sneaking into the dunes.

4 – A smooth ceiling light
The Sterne pendant light (Habitat Furniture Retail) provides efficient but gentle lighting. Its curvaceous forms are still echoing Syd Moen’s photo.

5 – A soft color palette and touches of green
For this arrangement, the choice is that of simplicity with a palette of white and gray. It will be the sheets or plants on the wall that provide a touch of color needed in this gentle space.
All the mood boards in that series of 5 are visible during all the duration of the exhibition. More information here: https://ypalixart.com/
The actual vignette of our 5th and last mood board called ‘Relaxation’ will be visible during a special visit: Interior Architecture & Decoration on Saturday, November 9 afternoon from 16:30.
